FARMA-accredited markets are held on throughout the year in Barnard Castle (on the first Saturday of every month) and from April until the end of September (on the last Sunday of each month) in Middleton-in-Teesdale.

The markets are worth a visit if you appreciate good, fresh food. There are speciality items, organic fruit and vegetables, delicious meats and more, all unique to Teesdale.
